I am Sharing an EXCELLENT thought by Bushra Humyra Esha. And again I am saying, only WE- this generation. can create REAL CORPORATE ENVIRONMENT. I am dreaming for it. Corporate Lust by Esha. Before going to start talking about ‘Corporate Lust’, I do have couple of discussion about corporate environment. Bangladesh is not known with this extravagant culture before early 90s’. Couple of FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) and banking corporation had welcomed the ‘So called’ corporate culture into our environment. If you had already watched ‘Devil wears Prada’, you could feel how tough the boss could be with her employees; even though the employees are very hard working, disciplined and obedient. No matters what, boss should maintain a certain period of ‘seriousness’, for his job but at the same time he should feel his employees’ emotions. An employee who has just started a fresh new life, thinking of having his/her new desk, new phone, new personal computer, new sort of tasks with a new boss, who will teach him the way to get involved with his organization, he has so many expectations with this newly new start. About the leader, who is a teacher, mentor, guide and as well as an idol for his employees; he should nurture his inferior in a way where the fresh can feel the journey evidently. He should not treat the employee like- you are just an employee, who have to prove his quality every single moment. ‘Motivation’ is a BiG word, which is missing in our corporate dictionary. People works for money, money has no individual identity. As a human, our biggest lust is ‘money’ unfortunately. We work day-night, night-day to earn more and more. We want to have even more big posts and a lavish life. This lust makes us sometimes inhuman. We can’t think of our people, life and love. At the end of the month, If you have some money in your hand, you can have better standard of living, good shopping which are treated as your prior motivation concern. Once I had a concern of Maslows hierarchy where he had a clear view of person need, want in a sequence. Once you achieve your basic need, want, security- you will go to the next step. The final step calls for self- actualization where person wants to earn social recognition, reward. I believe, we almost everyone follow the sequential process. ‘ Want’, ‘Need’ are our priorities which are never going to end. There are several courses including business education, such as: Human Resource Management, Organizational behavior, Business ethics. These courses teach us how to behave, where to react, when to control. To precise this conversation, I have only few words- “Go for the right thing”, lust will provoke you to behave crazy but always follow your heart, remember your learning sessions. You can’t change others but your individual strength can make a small step towards betterment and gradually a new world. Remember, you work for happiness, your happiness is shield into your everyday growth, your every single achievement. Life is once, let’s live it up. Cheers!
