I am a firm believer that things happen for a reason. Unfortunately, we may not know the reason for years to come and sometimes we may never know...... I have to believe there is a lesson in all of it. I was a nobody in Raqs world. I was a nobody in Brians or her boys world. That being said, YOU Raq, Brian, Cody, Austin, and the HUGE family of Team Roxy are all now a BIG part of my world as I have followed, cried, and read unending posts of unconditional love and support for a beautiful women who became an angel all too soon. Tears have been shed, goose bumps have been had, and a heavy heart was the theme of the day as I heard the news that Raq finally (on her terms) received her wings. I do not know this family personally but I do know many friends who care tremendously for Raq, Brian, and their two beautiful boys (men). I want you all to know that I have seen sadness and the worst come out in others when tragedy strikes. The Bogardus family has renewed my faith in the meaning of true love, friendship, loyalty and kindness for one another. My words could never express what you all must be feeling right now.... I cant even guess as Im feeling such sadness for a family I never knew! :( Maybe this is the lesson, Raqs lesson, that there is beauty in such tragedy....... of renewed faith, love, friendship, and a group of amazing people coming together to support one another for this incredible family. My guess, Raq is beaming with pride as she looks down on her family, friends and a job well done. Raq, you clearly had a mission
