I am a local writer from Abbotsford. Ive recently written a book which I am currently marketing. Its a thriller. Although very fictional the story has many elements that are real and have actually occurred in my life. One example is the fire. This is a real situation that happened to me back in 1986 when the pub I lived in The Smiths Arms had a major fire in which me and my family narrowly escaped. I was the boy and the dog was based on my Alsatian, Cass and the events relating to the escape are real. I have always had one wild imagination and so a while back I decided to get it all out and share my fd up imagination with whomever is willing to listen. The books main character is terrified to go to sleep. Nightmares that are so real he starts to question his own sanity. The tail spinning drama sends him out of control as the love of his life is tragically taken from him. His journey encompasses two continents as he tries to solve the mystery of his missing love. Now anyone that knows me knows my love of Canada and Great Britain. The stories location includes places like Carlton, Red Marshall, specifically the graveyard. Also Eaglescliffe, Stockton on Tees, Newcastle, Holy Island, Abbotsford and Vancouver. I would like to present it to local book clubs in the geographic areas in was written about.
