I am a military spouse and CrossFit Coach at CrossFit Watsonville. I would like to invite all of you to participate in a Memorial Day tradition and honor Lieutenant Michael Patrick Murphy (details below). The workout is pretty tough but you can scale/modify any and all movements if necessary. There is no cost to participate. Please inbox me with any questions. If you want to join us just go to crossfitwatsonville and click on the FREE CLASS link to the right. It will direct you to an online waiver. Murph is a mile run followed by 100 pull-ups, 200 push-ups, 300 air squats, finishing with one more mile. Athletes are able to partition the bodyweight movements to fit their ability. The point is to foster discipline as well as strength. Remember, we will have scaling options as well as encourage two person teams to tackle the workout. When you get tired – and you will get tired – remember Murphy, who exhaustively prepared for any fight he saw coming.
