I am a mother, Im a wife, Im a daughter, I am a sister , and I am a friend . You know me as a Girl Scout leader, and active in my childrens school activities . I am known by many and loved by some . What you may not know that I suffer from an illness , I battle bipolar1 mixed disorder every day , anxiety panic and ocd. There are some very wonderful days, And there are days where the only reason I get out of bed is for my children and husband. I am fortunate for my family and friends that understand my illness and support me even when I am at my lowest. I am on meds that help manage but there is no cure. I was born this way. Why does it take a wonderful entertainer to take his life for awareness in America about mental illness. We cant just get over it, we are not being lazy and we are not ”crazy”. Most of you would never know about me until now. Before you put me or people like me down, or pass judgement, please get educated ,have patience and a little compassion.
