I am a natural ginger. And yeah, painkillers, they dont work. But then again, another little known fact, redheads react to minor pain more acutely then others, but tend to ignore chronic or severe pain. To us gingers, a bee sting will elicit about the same response as a severed limb. Little pains we over react. Big pain, we dont react any more then little pain. It is all the same to us. Whether I break a nail or break a femur or dislocate a shoulder, my amygdala regards all these events as the same. Soooo. A red head might whine about a bug bite and have surgery without anesthesia.
