I am a person who tries not to get angry. I usually hold my temper pretty well, but today I simply could not. I purchased a piece of fabric off eBay. I dont sew by any means, but I thought it would make a cute back drop when I take pictures of the dolls. The selling price was $.99...yes $.99 plus shipping. I was the only bidder. The item ended at 8:45 pm (PDT) on 7/30 and payment was transferred from my bank at 7:38 (PDT) on 7/31. My PayPal account called the transaction complete at that time. This is less than 24 hours!! I noticed the exact item was put back up and I was ready to email the seller to find out why. However, it was immediately taken down with the message item is no longer available. This is a new seller so I assumed he/she had seen the mistake, so I didnt message them. Today, I get a message from the seller saying he/she was going to cancel my transaction and return my money as the item sold last night (7/31) as he/she did not receive payment by then. I know it is only a $.99 item, but it is the principal. How can the seller simply sell the item out from under me?? If he/she thought I was late paying, they could have messaged me. No payment requirements are mentioned for his/her items; items to be shipped 3 days after payment has cleared is all it says. I messaged the seller to let her/him know how upset I am about the transaction. I also said this is no way to treat a customer and being a new seller, he/she wasnt going to last very long if their customer relations didnt change. I told her eBay opened up a case on the cancelled transaction and I was required to respond. I told the seller my response wasnt going to be pretty!! The seller emailed me back saying that was fine by them. My payment did not post on their account until this morning and the item was sold last night. They said they dont care about eBay as he/she makes enough money offline. GGGEEEZZZZ.......I can not believe that statement!!!
