I am a salvager. Always have been. Anyway, Ive left 4 Brussels sprout plants in my garden, despite the fact that I, likely, planted them too late an/or they arent getting enough sun to MAKE, but I simply couldnt pull them up. Their leaves are ample and healthy. So, I went out to get a pepper this morning for my frittata and I thought, what the heck; why dont I clip some and chop them and sauté them with the onions and pepper for the frittata. Alone, raw, they were strong. Cooked in the frittata, they were good. Im wondering about using them in a fresh salad, in moderation. Anybody have any experience with them that way? Or cooked alone without the little sprouts? Thanks. jwt
