I am a sound oriented person. I love movies for the sounds in them. I associate certain people with certain sounds. The call of a house wren matches up with someone. The roar of big diesel engines another. There was a certain tinkle of ice in lemonade in a particular set of glasses that stirs memories of mom. I can turn on my dads old electric drill and feel him near. Songs too. I get goose bumps from some songs, not for the song but the memory associated with it and it can happen withing the first four or five notes. A minor lift I may play may change the color of lights in a room. Last night I played a particularly interesting passage and Is wear I smelled strawberries. I can be bothered by little displaced or discordant sounds that no one seems to notice. Do others experience this?
