Because while youre watching it on tv and being entertained, Russia is making moves on the Republic of Georgia, taking away their territory under the guise of security for Sochi. Russia says its temporary, for Sochi security... but thats a lie. The truth? Oil, gas, pipelines. Every day, Russia takes a few kilometers of Georgia away, simply just moving their border in occupation. So who cares about Georgia? If you believe in freedom and allowing people to live in an open democracy, then you do. Georgians love America, their nation is founded on the very same principals of freedom our own Constitution defines. Georgia was a favored state before the Obama regime, but once in power, Obama turned his back on them, siding with Putin and his efforts. There is also the issue of Abkhazia. Abkhazia used to belong to Georgia. Abkhazia is also being taken by Russia. Russia expects Armenia to become part of Turkey. Russia expects a solid border between itself and Turkey... meaning everything now in-between will be taken over. So this is all going on while you sit back and get entertained. The liberal media is not covering any of this... instead, they focus on poor bathroom facilities at Sochi. Time to wake up people, Boycott the Olympics, dont participate, dont buy into it.
