I am a through and through a Rugby League fan , a Cronulla supporter as well , but that tackle last week end on a Newcastle player was horrific , those Melbourne players who made the tackle on the Knights player in my opinion as well as the Melbourne tackle coach have a Question to answer as to WHY they felt they had to lift the offensive player , it looked liked he was picked up and speared into the ground , and now his future as a player , its not just his league career but now the rest of his life with his family is in doubt , unable to do jobs because of his injury some employers will not take the risk and thats if he is able to recover some-what. That type of tackle should be banned forever 3 people lifting and then spearing him into the ground like that what chance does any-one have now being injured or with complicated serious injury for life . No-one on the football show last night was saying lets review that tackle it was a lift he was speared and now as a result a player could possibly be unable to have a full life let alone walk. The league have some soul searching, so do the players and the defensive coaches its not just a game its also about human beings too.
