I am a white German Irish dude that is about as far from racist as an individual can be. I have a clear understanding that there are ignorant people that come in all races, creeds and colors.But tonight after my kids left I was taking a 2 am walk in my North Buffalo neighborhood and was accosted by an obviously drunk black man who did not know me nor my track record.I was wearing a plaid buttondown with and expensive cashmere sweater over it and corduroy coat. Not exactly a thugs formalwear other than my tims. He decided that he would try to intimidate me and see where eactly it would go. From a physical standpoint we were pretty evenly matched both over 6 foot and well over 200 lbs. I tried laughing him off and that obviously mad him angry enough to repeatedly call me nigga and run a bunch of in audible shit until the point in which he decided to place his fingertips on my forehead with his hand to his side. I quickly knocked them away and told him he had too much to drink and to run along before he gets hurt.With that he swung wildly and I came right down the middle with two hard ones and followed with a hook from hell. I did not take his wallett or go through his pockets , but at one point he referred to himself as caeser.I did not kick him in the head or the body. If I had a gun I wouldnt have shot him nor would I have run to the police. Most importantly I wouldnt let this one incident prevent me from learning from , laughing with and teaching people who are far different than myself.
