I am absolutely livid. I invite anyone who does/doesnt have children in school here in New York who believes in Common Core to come do my daughters math homework. One sheet of problems. Problems that would normally take a person 15-20 min to accomplish. Shes great at math and is in tears because she has finished 9 of 21 problems in over an hours worth of time. Check out how they are making these kids do these problems in the following pics...Im sorry folks. Ive had it. Kids need time to be kids. As parents, we work very hard to instill the importance of learning and also of enjoying life. This sheet of homework plus the other homework is practically two to three hours worth of work. Am I the only person out there that thinks this is ridiculous to ask of a nine year old kid?
