I am afraid that Pandoras Box has been opened! So even when guns - TopicsExpress

I am afraid that Pandoras Box has been opened! So even when guns are being pointed at the Police, they have no right to defend themselves?! Right is now being called Wrong! Wrong is Right! Good is now Evil! And Evil is now being praised as good! It is no surprise, because this is what the Lord Jesus said would happen as we enter the time of the end. People would become lawless and without the notion of personal responsibility. Matthew 24:12 says; And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. Because men will become extreme law-breakers, they will have no regard for the God ordained law given to keep order in nations, but will become self absorbed and caring for their own interest (Romans 13:1-5). In my “Police Brutality” video and writing called: “Are the Police out of Control”, I warned that things like this would happen. And with much of the hate speech for police being put out by so called “Black Activist”, it has made it alright in the minds of our young people to shoot the Police now! I pray that it is not too late, and that the hearts of man will be changed by the power of the Lord Jesus Christ! In case you did not see the video, or read the article, I have placed a link below and posted the article here. youtu.be/4Jk-rZ5Teeg B-blessed “ARE THE POLICE OUT OF CONTROL”? John Emerich Edward Dalberg Acton, a historian and moralist said: Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Great men are almost always bad men. It does not take a rocket scientist to understand this saying. When mortal men are given power and authority, it tends to make them feel and think that they are “untouchable” and “accountable” to no one! As I stated in my “Police Brutality” video, one would have to be seriously ill to think that there are not corrupt and dirty cops working in Law Enforcement. Just as there are dubious and corrupt Politicians, Judges, Doctors, Lawyers and even professed Christians; there is evil working in every aspect of our society. Knowing this to be true, have we considered the other element to this reality? What I am talking about is “Personal Responsibility”! I know that this is not something we want to consider, nor talk about; but we must, if we are to maintain a level of peace and understanding within ourselves and our personal lives. Since the beginning of time, after sin entered into the world, man has refused to take responsibility for his actions. Adam blamed the woman, the woman blamed the serpent; and it has gotten worse ever since! Man now calls “wrong” “right”, “good” “evil” and “darkness” “light”, it is no wonder that Jesus said “men loved darkness rather than light, because their “deeds” were evil” (John 3:19)! So the idea of being accountable or responsible has been gravely lost. Now, I by no means excuse the actions of trigger happy, arrogant or rude cops, all cops or not like that; nor do I take lightly the deaths of these individuals, but unless we want to unleash an all out war between citizens and law enforcement...it is imperative that we embrace the moral character of “personal responsibility”. The Michael Brown incident in Ferguson, Mo.; the Eric Garner choking in New York and the fatal shooting of 12 year old Tamir Rice in Ohio; all have degrees of personal responsibility. Michael Brown was seen on video robbing a convenience store and shoving the owner as the owner attempted to stop him from exiting the store. I can give you the link to the video, if you want it. And later when officer Darren Wilson tried to stop him, because he fit the description of the suspect in the robbery; he fought with the officer. Now, we were not there, so we dont know exactly how events unfolded, but if you see the video of the store robbery, you might think differently. Did Michael Brown deserve to be shot and killed? Of course not, but we cannot support, defend nor reward bad behavior. In the case of Eric Garner: It was said that he had broken up a fight between two men and was later approached by officers who accused him of illegally selling cigarettes on the street. As they talked back and forth for several minutes, Mr. Garner was told by police to place his hands behind his back, Mr. Garner refused, and a scuffle ensued. What if Mr. Garner had not resisted and instead complied with the order of the officers? What if Mr. Garner had not argued with the officers, and just agreed, and received a citation and went on about his way? Not saying that he was guilty of the charge, but he no doubt would be alive today to fight the charges against him. Sometimes in life there are times when we have to receive the wrong done to us in order to live and fight another day, and enjoy life with family and friends. Arguing with anyone is not a good idea (a soft answer turns away strife), especially in this day and time; but resisting and arguing with the law will only lead to worst things happening. His death was senseless, and should not have happened! My prayers go out to his family. The death of 12 yr. Old Tamir Rice could have been totally avoided! When I was a child, I played with toys guns and bb guns, things were different back then. The guns were easily recognized as being fake, and we would never dream of pointing it at people for fear of getting a beating from our parents, or from the person we pointed it at. It is reported that the orange tip, identifying it as a toy on Tamirs gun had been removed (by who), and because it was so realistic looking, that made it even harder to tell if it was real or fake. Where did Tamir get the idea to point guns at people? Who told him that, that was a cool, and an empowering thing to do? Where did he get that idea from? Was it taught to him through the perverted, profanity laced lyrics of gangster hip-hop/rap? Was it from the thug dope dealers in the neighborhood? Was he ever told by anyone that guns, let alone toy guns are not to be pointed at people, and that guns are to be respected and handled with great care? I want to be sensitive, because sometimes people do not hear what you are saying, but rather read into what you are saying and take it out of contexts and become angry. But, we have a God ordained responsibility to teach our kids, and to tell them about the dangers of this world. It is almost like we have to be with them at every second of the day and monitor what they do, who they talk with and go where they say they are going! Parenting is a full time job! The officer that shot Tamir; reportedly 2 secs after pulling up beside him was totally wrong, and it is said that he resigned from another police department after a bad review for his immaturity and pitiful performance with a handgun. We never know the character of the officer(s) that any of us are subject to encounter, so it is wise to react as comely and cooperative as possible while in their presence. I want to tell about two incidences that I had with law enforcement several years ago. Once in 1997 or so, I was stopped by a deputy who told me that I fit the description of a man that had assaulted a women a few hours earlier. He asked me to step out of my car and to come with him to where the woman was so that she could be identify me as her attacker or not. Now, I could have refused and begin resiting my rights, but what would that have got me but more cops showing up and a sense that I might be guilty, and possibly a trip to jail or worse. But I knew that I had not assaulted anyone, so why protest! I went willingly, being cuffed and placed in the back seat of the officers car. We arrived where the women was, she looked at me and said that I was not the one. The officer thanked me for my trouble, took me back to my car, and that was that, it was all cleared up in a matter of 15-20 minutes. Another time, during my high school days while in drama class, the class had to perform at another school. So after the play, myself and three other friends (two white, and one black), decided we wanted to have a pretend gang war. We were allowed to drive our own vehicles to the other school, and the play that we performed involved rifles. So being as brilliant as we were, we decided that it would by cool to ride around the neighborhood, fish-tailing the cars and pointing the rifles at each other. Well someone called the cops, we were surrounded, guns drawn on us and needless to say, we were scared beyond description. But thanks be to the Lord that we were not fired upon, and that the cops were level headed. We were released to our teacher, who was told that we were never again to leave school property to do any performances that involved guns. So if we were shot and killed by the police at that time, could anyone blame them for that? Personal responsibility rested upon us...we failed! The deaths of these individuals is a horrible thing, but we must stop swimming on the surface and go down into the deep and begin to see things as they are, and hold ourselves accountable for our own actions. Although Al Sharpton and others my say that they are fighting for the Civil Rights of Blacks, be very careful, because there just my be an intention to re-kindle racial tensions all across America. Please think about what I have written, and consider your own personal responsibilities not only in matters like this, but in every aspect in life. My intentions are not to vilify anyone, but only to hopefully help save someones life! B-blessed
