I am almost finished with reading through my Bible from beginning to end. It took me longer than I anticipated, but this morning I was thinking about the disciples and their ministries. I went to see the movie, Son of God, on Saturday. At the end it leaves you with the disciples watching Jesus ascend. It was so poignant that they were in a desert place in the movie. It got me thinking this morning as I was thinking of Peter, the Rock. Jesus left a few to carry on His message and oh what a message that has been delivered through the ages. They started out with nothing material, but they had the Sweet Holy Spirit and a whole world of lost awaiting! It only takes a few.... Isnt that amazing? Just look at what you or I could do if we had more faith and listened to that still, small voice more intently and earnestly. There is no room to stop or rest. I heard someone say that the world is winning! Well you know what, lets not be content in letting that happen. Lets ask for our hearts to be on fire to lead the lost to Him. I get so caught up in my career, finances, or silly problems that dont amount to nothing. I want a burning desire for others to look at me and say, Shes so happy and content, I want what shes got! I want them to know I am guilty of loving The Lord by the things I say, the things I do, the way I look, the way I act, and the way I make them feel. I want them to know I am a prisoner in bonds to Him........
