I am announcing to my personal friends and Friends of Lumina University that Our Family Circle-Lumina University Fund has been established at City National Bank, 900 Broad Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102 All over the Christian world, today, Ash Wednesday marks the start of Lent. Lent is symbolic and significant to us all. It is a time to fast,pray,repent from sin and seek Gods favors by doing good and opportunity to go to heaven. It is also a time to lose weight by shading off a few unnecessary pounds! I am urging you all, to make wise use of this unique and redemptive opportunity the Church has provided us to support the poor by donating to Lumina University in Africa. Please use your Lent wisely and productively by joining in the creation of an institution that will bring a lasting change in the lives of many especially the intelligent poor in Africa. During this Lent, I am asking you to join me in OFC SKIP-A-MEAL Campaign which starts today. This is how it works, each time you fast or skip a meal, put the money aside. At the end of every week or at Easter time, add up the total amount for the meals you missed and write one check to Lumina University c/o Our Family Circle-Lumina University Fund, 900 Broad Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102 Make a commitment of $20,$50, $100 or more. We also accept clothes, jewelries,cars,computers,RVs,Vans,Generators,Stocks,Securities,Bequests,Real Estate and many more. Your donation will help us to secure and survey 100 hecters of donated land in Imo State. No Amount in any currency is too small. Please, send your cash gift to City National Bank.
