I am appalled and disgusted that the British Embassy requires every Indian who wants a visa to the UK to deposit 3000pounds sterling with them, prior the issuance of a visa. This is approximately 2.7lakhs. Refundable on their return. Perhaps, the British economy is in really horrible shape and this is a nice way to get interest accrued to pay for their embassy survival in India. I believe that it would be perfect if every British passport holder deposited 3000pounds sterling at the Indian embassy in the UK prior getting an Indian visa. Refundable on their return. Using this technique we can happily build worldwide ghettos. But, I guess that all of this is never going to happen. I am never going to the UK ever on these terms. These terms ensure that I am a third class citizen when I am not.
