I am asking you to take a few minutes and let Congress know that the proposed cuts the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) of 12 percent to dialysis care will be at the expense of people on dialysis. This will impact not only me, but many of my friends who have kidney disease. I am worried that if these cuts take effect, patients will experience unintended consequences by closure of facilities, reduction of staff or patient centered programs being eliminated. These cuts will impact hundreds of thousands of people who require dialysis in order to survive, especially patients in rural and inner city facilities.
