I am back! Wow! I was much sicker than we realized!! By the time I got to the dentist on Friday, the infection had spread too far and too fast! The tooth couldnt be saved and massive antibiotics were going to be necessary. I am just now emerging from the coma of pain meds and antibiotics. I dont think I have ever in my entire life slept for over 48 hours straight!! It has been nice being home and knowing Michael was taking care of Tacey. I have now been off pain meds for a few hours. Unfortunately, it is time for Tacey and me to head back to Houston!! Thankfully, I am able to drive and everything will be fine! Three more days of radiation and that part of our journey will be finished!! Thursday will be a new start to the rest of the journey. Tacey will be in surgery Thursday morning to have her current port-a-cath removed and a new one placed. She will then be admitted to the hospital for her week of chemo. Once she is discharged from the hospital, we will be moving back to College Station!!! Yay! Now that we have internet at the apartment again and I am off pain meds and back to myself, I will be updating this page daily again!!!!! Please stay tuned for some fun stuff that will be happening this week!!! Thanks for the PRAYERS!!! I cannot imagine anyone going through this type of journey without PRAYER Warriors or without God!!
