I am being troubled by the ap sensation. I am noticing it with weather websites initially. The web pages are now being fitted as aps are. Aps are simple programs meant for phones that only give you little bits of information. Now weather web pages are merging them with their aps, reducing the amount of information available to its web users. WGN and now The Weather Channel have gone this route and the detailed type of information I want in my forecasting is being reduced to low information snippets. Windows 8.1 for computers I think lends itsef to this trend of quick, easy, low information web experience. I am not pleased with this trend.
