I am certain that few of my friends will read this. Fewer still will care. That is just as it should be as I write this for those few friends that remain teachable and those that wish for and fight for real change in a world where choices are artificially limited or predetermined. I have faith in neither democracy nor capitalism. I have faith in no President, Political Leader nor in any of the works of politicians. I do not bash Obama because I know very little about him... nor do I care to know more. The system that we currently have needs to be replaced in its entirety. Many people believe, because of the propaganda with which we were filled during our youth and which still permeates current thought that there is only Socialism, Communism and Democracy to choose from and if you are not for Democracy you must be a Communist or something equally as unpalatable, but there are many other choices. Usually, when I try to discuss such things with most people that are politically savvy they fall into the misguided thinking that it is all about bipartisanism. If you are not a Democrat then you must be a Republican or a Libertarian or a Conservative ad. nauseum. Henry David Thoreau wrote in his 1849 essay, Resistance To Civil Government: I heartily accept the motto, That government is best which governs least; and I should like to see it acted up to more rapidly and systematically. Carried out, it finally amounts to this, which also I believe--That government is best which governs not at all... There is a relatively new movement of thought called the Zeitgeist Movement which advocates and works to produce a new Spirit Of The Times utilizing a Resource-Based Economy and the delegation of all civil and governing decision-making to the best current engineering and scientific knowledge via Artificial Intelligence, thus removing Opinion from the equation of governance and removing government from civil matters. The Zeitgeist Movement also promotes the replacement of all human labor with automation and the embracing of the resultant loss of employment as freedom from employment. Play is the mother to innovation, learning and evolution. Although the following might sound rather astounding; one of the primary results of such a system would be the creation of unrestricted access to resources for all of the citizens. In other words, it would create a world in which everyone would have unrestricted FREE access to everything that was needed or wanted. Such a system would completely remove the biological and mental stressors that cause most of what we now consider mental illness and thus the profound majority of humans living within such a system would no longer exhibit the symptoms that today necessitate law and the legislation of human behavior. This movie covers and explains all of the basic concepts.
