Burlington Central stuffs North Boone From Staff Reports October 26, 2013 12:42AM Updated: October 26, 2013 2:03AM Burlington Central ended its season on a high note and got some payback in the process with Friday’s 28-14 Big Northern East victory at North Boone. Craig Kein returned a fumble for a touchdown to help lead a strong defensive effort for the Rockets, who also recorded a safety and held the Vikings scoreless for the final three quarters. Burlington Central (4-5, 3-3) got touchdown runs from Casey Matthews and Reilly Marino and a touchdown reception from Ian Napiorkowski. The outcome spoils the playoff hopes for North Boone (4-5, 3-3), which last year handed the Rockets a crushing Week 9 defeat.
