I am certainly not a cop hater, and I understand that police are sometimes put in difficult situations where they make a judgment call which is wrong, but this is not one of those cases. This is a cut and dry wrongful arrest. He reads the MTA rules out loud which verifies the man has the right to be performing in the subway, then goes back and changes the word permitted to prohibited in order to support his unlawful opinion. At best, hes illiterate. At worst, hes malicious. Either way, this officer should face criminal charges, not just administrative action.
