I am completely shocked and sad at the same time, I just received a telephone call :( For my work buddies that new Gary Millard, he passed away two weeks ago. There is a story to be told of this man, and one day I may be able to write it. But for now, I am just heart broken. He was cared for for a few years by my friend Michael A Voase, Mike gave Gary life because he took amazing care of him and made things possible that would not have been otherwise. In short, this man had family that didnt visit him, but made sure to take the rights of Mike away. However Mike took Race, Garys dog to visit on a regular basis and make sure things were well with Gary. I wasnt available as much as Mike was, but two weeks ago Saturday, I was able to go, take Race for the visit. My plan was also to bust Gary out for a small ride up to Sweet Berries for a cone. Gary had fallen earlier that day, and when I asked him why he fell, he said he got dizzy. I let him know that I would go get it and bring it back and he was so excited :) So we made cones and ate them with the dog sharing licks of Garys cone, never even blinking an eye, he shared like a daddy would a child. We talked about how awesome Mike was and Gary said that he had never had a closer and better friend, he said it with such love. He yummed and mmmmmd the cone, he hadnt had such a yummy thing for well over a year! When it was time to go, he loved on the pooch and held me longer for a hug than he usually does ~ We told each other we loved each other and I kissed his forehead. I waived and tossed a kiss in the air to him and told him one more time I loved him and left ... Mike just went to visit Gary tonight with Race and was told that Gary passed two days after I saw him. I was the last entry in the book ~ I am so grateful, to tears I am grateful that he had so much love before he went .... and maybe he knew something more than I ~ but I was not prepared for this ending ~ at all ~ Please light workers, send him love and light ~ reach him with your heart and soul and may the Angels deliver him with most precious care ~ I love you my dear friend Gary Millard ~ May you rest always in peace ~ xo
