Krepps 2011 A tree of many branches Standing by a brook Summons to my conscience To grasp a better look A trunk so thick and massive It holds the branches tight So when a strong wind passes It surrounds them in the fight A Tree Of Many Branches By: Terry S. Krepps 2000 A tree of many branches Standing by a brook Summons to my conscience To grasp a better look A trunk so thick and massive It holds the branches tight So when a strong wind passes It surrounds them in the fight Its resting place upon a bank With water flowing free A fold of deer so boldly drank The water by the tree The bark it was a healthy brown Twas shelter to the core The comfort in it could be found From the water by its shore The roots are nestled safely Within the soil so deep Allowing the branches so gracefully To reach out in their sleep Now, never will it worry Nor will it have to think To scuffle or to hurry To the Lord for its next drink So plant your roots and your daughters Firmly in Gods word For there are living waters For all of those whove heard Copyright2013TSKrepps
