I am convinced I was a killer in a past life: daycare somehow created an error on the girls file, they somehow or other told centrelink to cancel my child care rebate, centrelink obliged them n cancelled it for the entire last financial year. This apparently cant be fixed as the system has been consolidated for last year now. So on the system I owe them $1600. Daycare said I can set up a payment plan, then once I do my tax centrelink will pay me back, wtf! I rang centrelink who said No way in a pigs eye would they pay me a cent... They were nice actually n have agreed to pay me the Rebate fortnightly direct as they could see all the errors that have generated on the girls file in the last week... They told me to tell the centre to call them again, in the interim I am once again on the system a bad debt, even though I have always paid 2 weeks in advance. Wish I drank!
