I am crushed to tears. I was traveling home this evening after visiting my Uncle when I heard on the CB radio about Robin Williams. It felt like for one moment the world around me had just come to a stop. One wonders how people can become so emotional about someone they do not actually know, but there are some actors you feel as though you built a kinship with over the years, and Robin Williams was one of those people. My memories of Robin go back to the first time I saw Mork and Mindy in 1978 at my home with a house full of Marines, in Newport, N.C. Those guys laughed so hard over that show. It became a weekly ritual that everyone get together at my house for Mork and Mindy. Nothing but good memories of Robin. He will be greatly missed. R.I.P. Robin.
