I am currently recruiting for an experienced Carpenter/Joiner for a commercial builder located in Perths southern suburbs. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, have a minimum of 3 years’ experience and be confident undertaking the following tasks: • Reading plans and specifications to determine materials required, dimensions and installation procedures • Ordering and selecting timbers and materials, and preparing layouts, cutting materials and assembling and cut and shaped parts • Erecting framework and roof framing • Fitting door and window frames • Repairing existing fittings • Erecting & installing shelving and racking systems • Constructing, installing and finishing of feature timber Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with great interpersonal skills are essential.
