I am delighted that finally SPRSS have agreed to cover the vet bills I have paid to date. So that people are able to see how far Bao has come under vet supervision, supplements and an excellent home prepared diet, here are some recent pictures of her. She is still not completely out of the woods re: skin eruptions because she has still some persistent sores on her paws. The glucantime daily injections, to attempt to put the Canine leishmaniasis into remission, means that she may be poorly during the course of her treatment. She is used to me and my other dogs now so I find it extremely difficult to accept that to place her in yet another strange environment, at this crucial time in her recovery, would be in her best interest. Transporting her right now could also have a catastrophic impact on her present stage of recovery. I have received communications informing me that her planned adopter, who regretfully decided she would be unable to cope with Baos health problems, has commented on FB that [sic].
