I am disgusted by the medias frothing desire for another Trayvon Martin. Michael Dunn is not George Zimmerman. The only similarity they share is that they both shot and killed someone that had nothing positive to offer the world. But where Zimmerman shot, with an unassuming black matte compact pistol, a punk who had assaulted him and was beating him to near death, Dunn used a bold, chrome plated, statement-making hand gun on his punk who was in the back seat of a car, unarmed and otherwise nonthreatening. Jordan Davis was demonstrating the attitude of a punkass, and he had this coming. But that doesnt justify Dunn on principle alone. In this case, Jordan was a victim and Dunn just made a case for anti-gun idiots across the country. If other evidence comes out to the contrary, I will redact my statements, but for now I sincerely hope he does hard time.
