I am doing the Triumph 10 Country Challenge!!! in an old sweat box for 4 days with two other fools! Kudos to Charlie Deards who own the car and has worked like a mad man to get it road legal in time for the run. We start Thursday morning (Sep5-8) with some ~80 other classic Triumph cars and ~160+ Drivers....nothing but full on driving! Since this is a Charity run we have set-up a webpage that you can sponsor us on. Ten Countries Run starts running from the UK to Calais on the Thursday morning (Sep 5th) driving throughout the night through France (including a drive around some of the Monaco GP circuit), and on to Italy through some gruelling Alpine passes. More driving through the Alps in Switzerland and Liechtenstein before turning towards home on Sunday through Germany, Luxembourg, Belgium and the Netherlands to complete the ten countries. The event is organised by one of the most active car clubs in the UK, attaining a sizable amount of media coverage both local and national in the past, the sight of 80 Triumph cars going through the Alps does spark a fair bit of interest.
