I am extremely upset with #PAYPAL. Their security and customer service is an absolute JOKE. The first representative I spoke with acted like it was not a big deal at all and the money would be placed back in my account once applied. I explained, at this time this isnt about the money. I have been dealing with Identity theft for years now and its EXHAUSTING. Most companies cannot help with pinpointing the locations of the transactions, however Paypal admitted they have the location of where the transaction was requested from but do not want to give it to me for security & protection reasons. Who are you protecting?? The person who is trying to steal from me?? So let me get this straight, you cant stop the transaction, you cannot provide me with even the CITY the transaction came from, nor can you that you cant stop them from hacking my new pw once the money is available? WHERE IS MY PROTECTION?? Now, whoever was in my account now knows how bank accounts I have and with what banks, also my credit card and my address. I have been told that in order to file a report with the authorities I have to know the county the transaction was requested from. I am so upset because this has been going on for years. Identity theft sucks. I just paid $200 to pay off a loan that was taken out in my name because it would have cost me more money, time and disputes with the bureaus if I continued to fight it. I will never ever be using Paypal for anything again. Apparently their priorities are elsewhere.. END RANT.
