I am finally able to share the amazing video my sister Karin surprised me with. Watching this is so surreal. At times I cant believe this was me. Thank you for capturing this huge moment in my life. I am thankful to be alive today. Below are the words my sister had to go along with the video: Today, I am honored to share a very special video with you called, “Her Journey Through My Eyes”. This year as I watched & supported my younger sister battle breast cancer, I realized that no one is immune to this disease. Allyson was 26 years old when diagnosed and had the courage to face the reality of breast cancer. This video was something I made for her, but she is now empowered to make a difference in the lives of others by sharing her story. Allyson encourages and urges all women, young and old, to achieve early detection- choose knowledge over fear!
