I am finally going to write about this since Kitchen Divas in Sanford has finally been identified as the company who catered the holiday luncheon at the Maitland Collonades yesterday. Everything seemed fine, we all ate the same items. I had a little bit of each since I have to watch what I eat but did have half a plate of salad. I did not start to get ill until 5:00 and I went in to cvs on Lee and Mills to get something to settle my tummy. I was foolish and thought I could beat this. By the time I got to the register I was freezing and covered in sweat. I had to sit down for fear of passing out. I was more worried about how others were doing at the hospital and wanted to get there and thought I could still make it but I called my sister to rescue me. She took me to ER and I got great anti nausea meds. I have never had food poisoning before and do not wish this on anyone. Its horrible to see ones child be sick and care for them but I usually dont get sick and felt so horrified. Prayers for all the affected, the emergency workers, docs, nurses and our poor landlord who tried to bring holiday cheer and had this happen. Thankful that my girls and even their dad was there to cheer me up at ER and to my coworker Pat Starbear Jones to check up on me. I am going to be keeping my eye on this story very very closely because if I find out there was a disgruntled employee involved or any malicious intent then hell hath no fury as Christina scorned. I am glad Homeland Security and FBI are involved. I hope they can zero in on exactly what caused such a massive food poisoning incident.
