I am finding that renovating a home is a lot like my faith journey. It takes patience; not getting caught up in the what ifs; and trying to keep in focus the big picture and not get lost in the trivial things. (All the things Im horrible at!!) There is a lot this house needs. The Broken and bruised spots require repair and in many ways this home needs a renewal of hope. Years of weathering storms and trying to protect whats inside have taken their toll... But they havent won. There is beauty in this house that may not be visible to the human eye right now, but the beauty is in the transformation. It will take time,effort, and hard work to restore. It will be worth it. This house is me. This house may be you. Its never too late to try and fix what needs repair. To accept what yesterday was but move forward towards what tomorrow brings. To embrace our bumps and bruises; but never give up on the possibilities of making them new again.
