I am following my heart and traveling to an unknown path. This makes my parents and well wishers worried. Am I being selfish? Well, to me everyone is selfish. Whatever we do, we do because it gives us pleasure, happiness. Now when you follow your heart and inner calling, of course your well wishers and specially your parents wont like it. Because they want a well defined and secure life for you. Whereas taking risk, traveling to less traveled path brings lot of insecurity. So worry of your well wishers is justified. However this is your life. You need to define it. You need to create its purpose. Find out what you want. What you love. What you enjoy. And then simply follow your heart, your dreams and your desires. By doing this you are not being selfish, but you are giving a selfless service to your own life. Love life. Live life. AniMa
