I am for one day not interested in what kind of music your into. this song, does not bring about musical discussions It encapsulates the heavy burden of many generations -When you wake up to find out just what tiny sliver of time we have been at war- then you can see the tiny sliver was less than 30 years in what we think of as our great America and its slavery war born conception! there are more fanciful covers of this song- However this one is so raw you have to hear the lyrics- Please know U and please live Me- not democrats, nor republicans - just people who may not even have any other opportunity- except to change a broken system. we ALL have many ideas and some of them are cognitive, some are grandiose. In the end we have joy and grief and the ability to enjoy the freedom of both- dare we walk into realms of self realization, community healing and the community ability to realize we are not being told the truth about 9/11 ? Brain fog, tired, sick? does any good doctor ask us if our symptoms come from Spiritual sickness that is systemic and pervasive in our feeble attempts to be vigilant and watchful? my uplifted sweet spirit- Jae Wan was chastised fir showing and challenging folks to feed the homeless- i can give money to Free Tibet and be praised for it. i can support community radio and feel a part of something that is truly prolific. i can work hard and be told Im doing something creative in my community- never does anyone chastise me for these good( yet somewhat selfishly removed from the totally necessary ) and glorified ** humble deeds** probably to much- but Im inherently aware that we are all on our own here, in the most despised country. Let it be known- when we fall - and we will- that some if us stood for compassion! Sometimes the revolution is in the mind ! i am wondering, will we take this last opportunity? I love you all-
