I am from the Tulare County but i gave birth to my CHD warrior in Stanford (LPCH). I gave birth to Grace Eden Huerta on July 09, 2014 whom was born with CHD (HRHS) for those who dont know what CHD means it mean Congential Heart Defect && its #1 birth defect present at birth related to death. When children are born with CHD heart surgery needs to be preformed in there 1st week of life, sadly heart surgery is not a cure. On Graces 4th day of life she was inserted a shunt into her heart && sadly the next day Grace suffered a heart attack && was now connected to the Ecmo machine (life support) on July 18, 2014 Grace went in her eternal rest with God, having a child with medical needs did not only humble me but it allowed me to see that there is a NEED, out of my loss on earth but a gain in heaven something good came out of it. I Vanessa (Graces Mommy) am now connected to the Ronald Mc Donald House in Madera (Childrens Hospital) && what i do is deliver care bags that have toiletries, baby items from age to gender, && what was added to the list are breakfast meals since the lead coordinator (Jaine) reached out to me to thank me 1st of all && also told me that there in need of breakfast items such as breakfast burritos or breakfast bars. If anyone feels it in there heart to help or donate either in funds or items (i prefer items) anything && EVERYTHING is a blessing weather the donation is big or small, (i ALWAYS post pictures of what is raise, bought, && donated to let EVERYONE know that it was not a scam as well as because you helped && i helped we when we all able to come up with these small gifts (care bags) that are given from people who have giving hand to put a smile on not only a childs face but there Famalies) we when we all come in unity great things happend, it happend to me && it can happend to you.
