I am fully aware that when 2 are joined together, they become 1 and that decisions should be made including both. BUT...3 wks ago today at 7am, I decided I had had enough of the life I had been leading for the past 5 yrs and wanted to just get away. It didnt matter where,but,I wanted to go right then and just go. After looking online at homes in Greenville County near James work, I woke him up and told him its not fair to him to have to come home after 13hrs of work and have to deal with a leaking roof, see my stress when apartments arent rented,etc. I showed him what looked to be a normal 3/2 brick home. My racing mind had already figured how little I could sell my house for and still buy the little brick set up.His comment was Why do you want to do that when we could go to my house in Seneca? Its paid for. I told him I didnt care where we went, I just wanted to go where I could enjoy my husband. I missed church the following morning because someone was coming from Augusta to buy some things I knew would not be going with us. As I waited for them to arrive, I decided I would take things a step further.You see, God opened a door for me several years ago to be a part of a loving church family while sharing His gifts with their Praise Team. Since being married last year, my new husband and I have not been able to worship at the same church but only on a few occasions. I felt like if I was going to choose a different way of life, I should go all the way. Besides, with the many distractions which come along with not only being self employed, but also having a home based business (several to be exact) and managing rental properties, I felt I was not able to continue to give a full 100% to Turning Point Church of God, Walhalla, South Carolina. As I explained this to Pastor Tommy, I included the fact that I wanted to be fully supportive to my husband and not be a hindrance to him in any way as he finalizes his Masters degree in Ministry. I have witnessed the swift Hand of God in many ways,but,never like this. Within 3 days my house was sold (along with the occupied rentals) and we were moved to Seneca. God even showed me how to arrange our belongings which once filled a 6br 4 ba home into a 2br 2 ba home. When I moved to Pendleton 5 yrs ago, I literally had every door and window frame prayed over by Pastor James Rogers and Bro Donnie Rogers; that only blessings would flow from the decision of moving there to make it a Transitional Home for women of Another 2nd Chance. It is obvious that paths are allowed to cross for reasons far beyond human comprehension and I have been placed in many paths while residing there. The most memorable by far are the new homeowners who were my tenants as of last month. To see the smiles on 3 small faces who lost their memories to a house fire makes my decision even more worth it!!! I have thoroughly enjoyed my last 3 weeks with James Webb and look forward to sharing the rest of my life with him as we continue to allow God to direct our daily walk.
