I am going to approach todays new members 1 at a time because I have a story to tell. Anna Silva, brought us Michelle Mendoza. Michelle lives in Yuma, Arizona but she grew up in San Jose, California. (Dont get lost!) I live in Lebanon County, Pennsylvania. About 6 miles north of where I live is a town called Fredericksburg and moving west toward Indiantown Gap Military Reservation is a town called Lickdale. James Lick was born here near the Blue Mountains. The cemetery, Cedar Hill, at Fredericksburg has a monument to his father who fought under the command of George Washington. James Lick moved to San Jose, California after his girlfriends father rebuffed and ridiculed him. There is a school in San Jose named after James Lick, Michelle graduated from that school. (Im not finished). James Lick then moved to Peru where he became friends with Domingo Ghirardelli. When James moved back to California, he located in San Francisco, Michelles favorite football team. Oh by the way, he convinced Ghirardelli to bring his chocolate making business to San Francisco. (Sorry I couldnt help that.) Welcome Michelle.
