I am going to regret eating crackers and Win Schuler Bar Cheese this late in the evening. Im already feeling the heart burn well up. There has been some sadness, frustration and joy today, so I call it a good wash. I am disappointed to learn a dear photographer friend is going through a personal setback and is unable to work with me at a soon upcoming wedding. I wish her peace and comfort through this transition and pray she is able to return to a somewhat normal life quickly. With that comes the need to interview and secure a few 2nd shooters who are well experienced in wedding photography, should I come upon another emergent situation. If you or someone you know fits this request, please private message me. Excited to be flying to Maryland and then road tripping back in a few weeks. I dont believe Ive ever been to the Eastern states of our country. Its going to be a pretty quick jaunt, but exciting none the less. This road trip ends with the acquisition of a vehicle upgrade for me. Ive been needing something that is able to tote props, scenes, equipment and most importantly my grand children without fear of rear seat belt failure. The little bit of emotional down side of this is no longer driving my big ole Chrysler Concorde. This car was a bit of a milestone for me. I acquired this car by securing a loan and paying it off on my very own with no help nor co-sign from anyone. Something you might expect for everyone, but coming from a financial set that usually met with struggle to make basic ends meet, it was a personal accomplishment. It has been a wonderful car for me the last 7 years, getting 33mpg on the highway and minimal cost in repair. But glad to be passing it on to a deserving young man who needs a ride to and from work. Back to editing for a bit and then off to bed. Good night, friends.
