I am going to share a true story with all of you about ONE of my reasons I love soap so much. I have loved soap since I was a little girl. One time back in the 70s we were so poor, we had ran out of soap. There was a lady that lived beside of us in a beautiful two story Colonial Styled Home, she was my friend. The lady, Mrs. Foust was a kind and wonderful woman. Everyday she had on a brightly colored, elegant dress and always wore a vintage, shiny broach. Her hair was always perfect and truthfully she looked liked Queen Elizabeth on a daily basis! Her house was always perfect and very tastefully decorated. One day I was playing and Mrs. Foust walked up to me to say hello. I loved Mrs. Foust and I always gave her a hug. I told Mrs. Foust we had ran out of soap, I was only about 10 years old. She instructed me to come in her house with her. I gladly jumped up and ran in her house as she was always giving me treats and I just loved her ginormous house and all the collectibles, her home looked like a mystical museum and it was fun to be in there! We went up her carpeted stairs and the upstairs hallway was so BIG! She opened up a big closet and it looked like a grocery store! I was just stunned by it! She had I know at least 50 packs of toilet paper, boxes and boxes of tissue, shelves of cleaning supplies, and at the bottom was a HUGE box of soaps, she had Ivory, Camay and an old soap called Swan. She pulled it out and I know there had to be at least 200+ bars of soap in that box, she grabbed a bag out of that closet that was made brown paper and had handles made from a strong twisted paper. Mrs. Foust filled that bag up full of soap and all the soaps together smelled so good! She gave me about 25 bars of soap and then sat there on her knees with me and said, I declare on this day you will never run out of soap again! I hugged her so tight and she always smelled so good, she smelled like Lilacs and Gardenias! I thanked her and ran home to show my family. I sat the bars of soap in my bathroom and I never ran out of soap again. I always knew Mrs. Foust was Magickal!
