I am happy to say Dexter is now a dog with confidence.Now I can see what a lovely temperament he has.He is a very happy boy. When Cappu left he was very sad and would not eat. I decided to bring him in the house for a large part of the day and this has been very good for him.I do wish he could be here all the time but Blanca and Potter will not accept him.They stay in another room when he is here. Mai and Merlin love it when he comes in.They have a great time chasing and playing. He is so relaxed now,falling asleep on his back with his legs in the air.He loves his tummy rubs and when you stop he soon lets you know he wants more. He is much better with other people and does not run away now.He met my son in the kitchen.The back door was open and he could have gone out,but he stayed to see who this was. All we need to do now is get him walking on a lead.He hates the lead and will chew it if he gets the chance.As soon as you put it on he freezes and will not walk.I am not going to force this.He will do it when he feels ready.After all he is not the scared dog that would not come out of the kennel for 3 months
