I am hating myself for writing this status, and I dont personally want to offend any friends... but I learned the ugly truth about Sea World through my friends insightful facebook shares, so I hope at least one person can read this before their next travels... If you plan on doing a Crazy Asia Tour!!! please please PLEASE do NOT ride elephants, buys elephant paintings, watch monkey shows, or pet tigers etc... These animals are abused with chains and spikes, bred in captivity, drugged, and/or live in life-sentenced prisons... There are plenty of places like sanctuaries or safaris you can go to that are even better! You may not be able to ride elephants or touch tigers there, but you can see them running around free! Its amaaaaazing! (There are actually a few sanctuaries that let you bathe and feed certain elephants! If they let you ride them, walk the other way!) Every time you spend money, youre casting a vote for the kind of world you want. So spend it on something good! Please!
