I am home again, what a wild few days. The trip has been entertaining, we blew a tire on the cargo trailer when we were only 18 miles from our new home. Our insurance was really good and picked up the roadside assistance tab. We got here in time to get internet hooked up, and get some treasures unloaded. The house is absolutely gorgeous, new paint, oak hardwood floors, cleaned up and lots of space for kids and dogs. The ensuing days involved a tangle with the gunsafe, which ultimately lead to four staples at urgent care and a lighter wallet along with some augmentin which I am not a great fan thereof. The horses moved to pasture to await some control of the VS outbreak, followed by trying to put a big door in a small hole, but with the help of my McGyver, mission accomplished. The house is cleaned up and sold to a new owner. The storage shed is cleaned out, the saddle shop is still sitting there waiting for me to make a decision. The kids are registered for school and I am hot and tired and ready for wine and bed. More boring details later.
