I am honored to serve in our armed forces, regardless of what everyone thinks of America and its military. Here is a well written article that I agree with. It is certainly worth the read and if you have the opportunity, please consider talking to a recruiter. As for my life experience, I joined the national guard when I was 30. Im still a private a few years in. On the side, I have a beautiful Asian wife, bachelors degree, good paying civilian job, apartment mortgage, nice car (paid off), and a life long burning desire to serve my country. Im finally doing it. Im not going to write about the stupid BS I go through while in my service, but to say a life outside of the service is BS free is a myth and a lie and you all know it. So listen to some of the stupid BS that other service men and women share but take it all in stride and consider serving a greater cause.
