I am in Amsterdam Hyatt beautiful hotel but why am I here? Who is the idiot who missed my connection to Cardiff and why ? I had loads of time three hours in fact so made my way to the Prority lounge to relax play some games and write a few messages also. Id read the times of the flight and was sure I landed in Cardiff at ten thirty therefore must be flying at ten thirty because of the hour difference. As you know its a twenty four hour clock somebody will have to teach me that 20 00 is 8 oclock not ten oclock. As I am not used to flying all over the world I hadnt realised the difference As If.. I feel like a real twit and didnt dare ring the office to ask them to get me another flight as it was my own fault so my darling man did the business of getting me a flight tomorrow albeit to Gatwick which means he has topics me up there instead of Cardiff. KLM wanted £879. For the first flight in the morning but I am now flying for £67. Including my luggage. Its with an Indonesian firm so Ill probably have to fly myself for that price . Cant believe it . Ian is going to call me in the morning to make sure I dont miss it and I probably wont sleep a wink worrying about it. I suppose I have to look at it like this. You only nearly fall asleep once in your life while driving the car as you have such a fright I had the same feeling when I missed my connection and it will definitely not happen again. My luggage had been off loaded so I had to look for it that took an hour. To be honest I didnt think Id get that either but all is well in that department. The only other thing its Raining so got a bit wet waiting for the hotel shuttle. Please wish me luck for the morning. Im only home for a day as I leave for Southampton Wednesday what a bugger sorry but I had to swear or shoot myself for being such an idiot goodnight all.
