I am in St Augustine, Florida. I could drive all the way south to Ft Lauderdale but stopped to look in the glorious outlet malls here. I bought a St John jacket at 80% off. On the drive here I suddenly saw how I need to open Book 2. I wrote a lot when I thought Todd was going to be the hero but neither Linda or I liked him enough for that so I tossed it. Then I wrote a long chapter of Erin and Nate. So today I saw a way to merge the 2 stories. This means that all but one page of the Erin chapter gets thrown out, but so be it. What I came up with is better. I have to send Stacy away and I know just how to do it. For me, the best part is I get to bring in Hallie and Jamie right away. I deeply wish you guys had read that book. Linda likes it the best of the 3 Nantucket books. Anyway, the whole thing cheered me up so much that Im no longer homesick. Over the next few days Ill be able to escape storage unit rummaging and sit under my tiki hut and write. I will post pictures of my house in Florida.
