I am in a lot of pain today my friends; and God is constantly - TopicsExpress

I am in a lot of pain today my friends; and God is constantly reminds me that he is still God. I remember soon after I had my first surgery. We were going to hear a popular choir sing in South. As we were going along on the bus, I was read my bible. And the pain started shooting down my leg. Then I heard from with-in my spirit; “patience”, then I heard again, “ LET PATIENCE TAKE HER PERFECT WORK IN YOU” I stopped reading what I was reading in the bible, and I looked it up. And I ran unto James 1:4, which states; James 1:4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.” Right then, I knew I was in for the long haul. JAMES 1:2 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, 3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. 4 But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. 5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. 6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. 7 For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; 8 he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways. As I started reading James, Chapter 1, I would have to do something that I never had: “patience”. I was always running my head into something, never waiting for anything. One thing that I know is that if God wants you to slow down, you will slow down. Now, I said Lord, how can I find joy in the mist of all of this pain I am going through? Lord I realize, that this is a trial of my faith, but how Lord, how do I find joy in pain? And when will it stop? Then He said, “Ecclesiastes 3:1; To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven”. That scripture reminded me of when Paul kept asking God when is He going to remove his thorn. And God said I have mercy on whom I have mercy on…. I was going through all of this while I was in pain on a bus ride. By the time I got home, I was done. By now the pain was chronic… tears running down my face, I tried to tuff it through. I called pastor of a church I use to go to; there I got my final peace of the puzzle. As I was explaining to him what I was feeling, he said, “Calvin, all things work together for the good of them that LOVES the Lord”…. Right after we had finished praying, I remembered reading it in the bible and I knew where to go” Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” The puzzle fit. I am going through a trial… I have to have patience… and all of this is for my good.. My trial is my pain, which I am going through every day. And I have to have patience “JAMES 1:4” and trust In the Lord WITH ALL MY HEART. “ Proverb 3:5-6”. As I am going through this test, this trial, I must ask God for His divine wisdom, to go through…. All wisdom comes from God.” JAMES 1:5”. You can ask man for advice; you may get the right answer, if he is connected to the source, “THE HOLY SPIRIT, GOD HIMSELF”. But if we go directly to God for the answer, He will not lead us the wrong way. Psalms 23…. AND God is constantly reminding me it is working together for my good. How is it working together for my good? One, I have learned to patiently wait for and on God. No matter what the situation is, I am learning to wait on the Lord, AND HE WILL STENTHEN MY HEART. Psalm 27:14 Wait on the LORD; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the LORD! (Through prayer, and patience; my strength is renewed daily. Isaiah 40:31; But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Praise God! Bless His holy name! Now, waiting on the Lord does not mean that we have to set and wait and wait. Our faith is put in action but doing. The bible tells us that we must be a doer of the word and not a hearer only… part of doing is prayer and worship and meditating on God and His word. And after we have gather up or strength we do what the God has directed us to do, we go. And if we do not know where to go, we go to the bible. We got the directions, from “THE WORD OF GOD., THE BIBLE”. The bible is our life line; it will show us the solution to every problem. Two, I have a constant reminder of who my Healer is. “I am the Lord thy God who healeth thee... EXODUS 15:26 New Living Translation He said, If you will listen carefully to the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in his sight, obeying his commands and keeping all his decrees, then I will not make you suffer any of the diseases I sent on the Egyptians; for I am the LORD who heals you. I guess you are wondering why this verse? I select this verse because we have to remember who God is. Yes, he is a healer, a deliverer. But He is also the RIGHT HAND OF RIGHTOUESNESS… He will do all these wonderful things for us if we follow His instructions…. You see, no matter what we are going through, no matter how hard life gets, it all works together for the good of God and His people. As long as we live here on this earth, we are going to have trials and tribulations. Jesus said it Himself said it in, “John 16:33 Living Bible 33 I have told you all this so that you will have peace of heart and mind. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows; but cheer up, for I have overcome the world.” Jesus ( Y’shua) is the reason that I still have joy in my heart, because He has overcome the world, by dyeing on the cross for our sins, He assured us that there will be no more sorrow, no more pain. So when I get to my lowest point, God reminds me of these scriptures. 16 years last January is when I got hurt… and God is still giving me joy in my heart… AMEN! THANK YOU FOR YOUR PRAYERS!
