I am in need of help. My friend and I picked up a free German Shepherd puppy who had been given away, and the new owner was told by a Vet that she is blind and deaf. We are hoping to rehabilitate her and fit her with a returning soldier with PTSD. However, were noticing that she seems to be able to see and hear sometimes, but not all the time. She also has balance issues, and bouts of aggressive behavior where she bites and growls at herself and her food bowl. After a lot of research, I believe that she has either fluid around or in her brain, or maybe a tumor. The symptoms and other cases Ive read about, match Rosie to a T. But neither of us have the funds that the diagnosis, treatment, and probable surgery would cost. I have been looking online, and I am not having much luck at finding an organization or anyone who may be able to help get Rosie better. So Im reaching out to everyone possible. If anyone knows of or has any information that may help I would greatly appreciate your time and effort. Rosie is only 4 months old. Her life has barely begun. Shes a beautiful puppy who deserves a chance at a healthy and fulfilling life.
